Council is a small farming town of 870 people in west-central Idaho, serving as Adams County's seat. Located on US Highway 95 about 90 miles north of Boise, it connects north to Lewiston and south through McCall. The 1902 brick courthouse with its distinctive clock tower dominates the tiny downtown along the highway.
