Corydon, Indiana's first state capital, sits 20 miles west of Louisville at I-64 Exit 105. The drive from Louisville takes 30 minutes via I-264 and I-64 west, while Indianapolis is 120 miles northeast. State roads 135 and 62 provide local connections through Harrison County's rolling hills. The original 1816 limestone capitol building still stands downtown where Indiana's first constitution was written.
