Corydon is a small county seat in south-central Iowa, about 75 miles from Des Moines via Highway 69 and Interstate 35. Highway 2 provides the main east-west connection, while Highway 69 links north to larger cities and south to Missouri. The town centers around its historic courthouse square, anchored by an impressive 1893 Romanesque Revival courthouse with distinctive red brick and limestone construction.
