Cortland is a small farming town in southeastern Nebraska, about 25 miles southwest of Lincoln via Highway 2 and Highway 41. The main routes are Highway 41 running north-south and Highway 103 east-west, intersecting at the town center. Most visitors arrive from I-80 via the Crete exit. The towering grain elevator serves as a landmark visible across the prairie for miles.
