Correctionville is a small farming town of 760 people in northwestern Iowa, about 25 miles northeast of Sioux City via Highway 31. The town sits in rolling agricultural country along the Little Sioux River, with Interstate 29 providing regional access about 20 miles west. It's named after the Iowa House of Correction, a reformatory that operated here from 1888 to 1935.
