Cooper is a small county seat in northeastern Texas, about 70 miles from Dallas via I-30 and Highway 154. The town of 2,000 sits in rolling countryside near the South Sulphur River. Most visitors arrive from Dallas or Commerce, while locals make short trips to Commerce for shopping.
