Conway is a small farming town in northeastern North Carolina, just 15 miles from the Virginia line. Highway 258 runs right through town, connecting to US Route 158 for access to Interstate 95 near Weldon. Most visitors come from nearby Murfreesboro or make the 45-mile drive from Rocky Mount. The town's 1907 railroad depot still stands downtown, marking Conway's place along the old Seaboard Air Line Railway.
