Conger is a tiny farming town of 99 people in southern Minnesota, about 10 miles southwest of Albert Lea via County Road 46 from I-35 Exit 11. The area is flat prairie with corn and soybean fields stretching for miles. Its massive grain elevator, visible across the countryside, has anchored the community since the early 1900s.
