Conesville is a farming town of 439 people in eastern Iowa's Muscatine County, sitting along the Iowa River about 20 miles northwest of Muscatine. Highway 70 runs right through town, connecting to Highway 61 east toward Muscatine and Highway 218 west toward Iowa City. The town's 1899 railroad depot, now a community center, anchors the small downtown area.
