Colon is a small farming town in southwestern Michigan, about 25 miles southeast of Kalamazoo via State Routes 86 and 60. Most visitors connect through I-94 to the north or drive up from Indiana on rural highways. The community of 1,570 calls itself the "Magic Capital of the World" and hosts an annual magic festival each August.
