Collins is a small Georgia town of about 530 people in Tattnall County, surrounded by pine forests and farmland. US Highway 301 runs right through the center, connecting north to Statesboro (45 miles) and Savannah (90 miles), while State Route 169 provides east-west access. The restored 1920s railroad depot now serves as the town's welcome center.
