Collingdale is a small borough in Delaware County, just 8 miles from Philadelphia International Airport via I-95. MacDade Boulevard (US-13) runs through town, connecting to Upper Darby and Chester for daily commutes, while I-95 handles longer trips. The community grew around the old Pennsylvania Railroad and keeps its early 1900s small-town character. The volunteer fire company from 1924 still operates from its original MacDade Boulevard firehouse.
