College Park is a Maryland college town about 10 miles northeast of Washington DC, built around the University of Maryland campus. Take I-95 or the Beltway (I-495) to reach it, with Route 1 running right through town. The College Park Metro station connects directly to downtown DC. The local airport, dating to 1909, is the world's oldest continuously operating airfield where Wilbur Wright once trained the first military pilots.
