Collbran is a small ranching town of 356 people in western Colorado's high country, sitting at 6,000 feet between Grand Mesa and Battlement Mesa. You'll reach it via Highway 330 from Interstate 70 at Parachute, about 18 miles southeast through ranch country. The town serves as your gateway to Vega State Park and its excellent trout fishing.
