Cole is a small Oklahoma town of 848 people located 30 miles south of Oklahoma City via Highway 9. Most visitors take I-35 south to the Highway 9 exit near Norman, then drive west about 15 miles through rolling prairie country. The town sits along the historic Chisholm Trail route where Texas cattle drives passed through in the 1870s.
