Coldwater sits along US-12 in south-central Michigan, 15 miles from Indiana. I-69 runs east-west through town, connecting Fort Wayne (45 miles) and Kalamazoo (55 miles). The city serves surrounding farm communities and features the world's largest weathervane, a 48-foot steel rooster that's been spinning in Rotary Park since 1984.
