Coldspring is a small East Texas town of about 1,300 people, located 70 miles north of Houston near Sam Houston National Forest. Take US 59 north to Cleveland, then Highway 150 west to reach downtown. The restored 1918 courthouse with its red brick and white limestone design sits prominently on the town square.
