Cody serves as Wyoming's gateway to Yellowstone, sitting 53 miles from the park's east entrance along scenic Highway 14/16/20. The town connects to Billings (177 miles northeast) and offers several EV charging stations for park visitors. Buffalo Bill founded this western community in 1896, and today it houses the world's largest firearms collection with over 7,000 pieces at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
