Cocoa Beach is a barrier island city on Florida's Space Coast, reached via State Road 520 from the mainland or A1A along the coast. Most visitors drive the Beachline Expressway from Orlando (45 miles), while I-95 provides access from Jacksonville and Miami. The 800-foot fishing pier extends into the Atlantic and houses restaurants and shops at its ocean end.
