Cochran is a small farming town in central Georgia, about 45 miles north of Macon via US Highway 23. The town serves as Bleckley County's seat and sits amid rolling farmland known for blueberries and pecans. Most visitors come through on US 23 or take US 341 from Eastman, with Interstate 16 providing regional access about 15 miles south. The annual Georgia Blueberry Festival each June celebrates the area's agricultural heritage.
