Coaldale is a small Pennsylvania borough in Schuylkill County's coal country, about 90 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Take Route 209 north from I-476 Exit 40, or connect via Route 54 for east-west travel. The town sits in a valley setting with a population around 2,500. The historic Coaldale Hotel from 1898 still stands at the main intersection of Routes 209 and 54.
