Clyde is a small West Texas city along Interstate 20, about 20 miles east of Abilene. Most visitors arrive via I-20 or State Highway 36, which runs north-south through town. The area serves as a bedroom community for Abilene workers and a stop for cross-state travelers. Clyde hosts an annual Peach Festival each summer, featuring live music and homemade peach cobbler in the town square.
