Clutier is a farming community of about 425 people in central Iowa, accessible via Highway 21 from Cedar Falls (30 miles northeast) or US 30 from the south. The town sits in classic Iowa agricultural country with corn and soybean fields stretching in all directions. Most notable is the restored 1920s grain elevator that still operates and dominates the small downtown skyline.
