Cloverdale is a small farming town in west-central Indiana, about 30 miles southwest of Indianapolis via I-70 and State Road 231. The main routes include SR-231 running north-south through town and connections to US-40 from the west. The town's historic covered bridge over Mill Creek is one of the few remaining in Putnam County.
