Clontarf is a farming community of 45 people in western Minnesota's Swift County, about 20 miles northwest of Benson via Highway 9. The town sits among corn and soybean fields on the prairie, accessible from the Twin Cities via Highway 12 west through Montevideo. Its original grain elevator still stands as a landmark visible across the flat countryside.
