Climax is a tiny Kansas community of 46 people in Greenwood County, about 15 miles northeast of Eureka via US-54 and county roads. Most visitors arrive from Wichita (60 miles) or other regional towns on rural routes. The town sits on elevated prairie land with rolling hills, experiencing typical Great Plains weather. It's named for its position on one of the area's highest points, offering expansive views across the surrounding farmland.
