Cleveland is a small town of about 1,200 people in Blount County, roughly 30 miles northeast of Birmingham via I-65 and Highway 79. US 231 runs right through town, connecting north to Oneonta and south toward Montgomery. The town sits in Alabama's scenic foothills and houses the Blount County Memorial Museum in a historic 1906 courthouse.
