Clearfield lies along I-15 between Salt Lake City and Ogden, about 30 minutes from either city. The town borders Hill Air Force Base and sits in the Wasatch Front valley with mountain views. Most visitors use I-15 or Legacy Parkway for north-south travel, while Route 193 cuts east-west through town. Steed Park displays a vintage Union Pacific caboose from the area's railroad days.
