Clear Lake is a rural Pierce County community about 20 miles southeast of Tacoma, home to roughly 1,200 residents. Take SR-161 south from Puyallup for the most direct route, or follow I-5 to SR-512 west from Seattle. The area sits in rolling farmland with Mount Rainier views and takes its name from the small natural lake just west of the highway that's popular with local anglers.
