Clayton is a small mountain town in northeast Georgia that serves as Rabun County's seat and a gateway to Blue Ridge outdoor recreation. US 441 runs through downtown, connecting north to Franklin, NC and south toward Atlanta via a scenic two-hour mountain drive. The 1906 courthouse with its working clock tower still anchors Main Street.
