Clayton is a small city in central Delaware, about 15 miles south of Dover on US Route 13. With around 4,200 residents, it sits at the intersection of Routes 13 and 6 in Kent County's farm country. The town provides convenient access to I-95 for trips to Philadelphia or Baltimore, while local routes connect to Dover and Smyrna. Clayton hosts an annual Peach Festival each August celebrating the area's former orchard heritage.
