Clarkson is a farming town of 600 people in eastern Nebraska, about 75 miles northwest of Omaha via US-275. The highway connects it to Norfolk (25 miles east) and serves as the main route through this corn and soybean country. The town's distinctive water tower features a bright sunburst design that's visible for miles across the prairie.
