Clarksburg is a small farming community in western Tennessee, about 25 miles northeast of Jackson via Highway 70. The town sits in rolling agricultural country with easy access to Interstate 40 through Jackson for longer trips to Nashville or Memphis. State Route 69 connects north to Paris, Tennessee. The area played a role in Civil War river campaigns, with nearby Fort Heiman overlooking the Tennessee River.
