Clarksburg is a small Missouri town of 300 people located along Highway 87 in Moniteau County. Most visitors arrive via US Highway 50, which connects to Jefferson City (25 miles) and Sedalia (30 miles). The route from Columbia takes Highway 87 south for 35 miles through rural farmland. The town's historic one-room schoolhouse from 1888 sits right along the main highway.
