Clark Fork is a small river town in northern Idaho, 20 miles east of Sandpoint on Highway 200. With just under 1,000 residents, it sits in a forested valley along the Clark Fork River near the Montana border. The drive from Coeur d'Alene takes about 45 minutes via Sandpoint, while Spokane is 90 minutes away through Newport. The town still uses its original 1960s elementary school building as both an educational center and community gathering place.
