Cinco Bayou sits between Fort Walton Beach and Destin along US Highway 98, Florida's scenic coastal route. This small waterfront city on the Intracoastal Waterway is about 15 miles from Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport and easily reached via State Road 85 from inland areas. The community offers prime access to both Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico for boating enthusiasts. Cinco Bayou features one of the few remaining swing bridges on the Emerald Coast.
