Choteau is a small farming town in north-central Montana where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. US Highway 89 runs right through town, connecting north to Glacier National Park and south to Great Falls. The area is famous for dinosaur fossils, and the Old Trail Museum displays the first Maiasaura nest ever discovered.
