Chisholm is a former Iron Range mining town in northeastern Minnesota, accessible via US Highway 169 about 60 miles northwest of Duluth. The town sits amid the forested Mesabi Range with connections to nearby Hibbing and Virginia. Range Regional Airport in Hibbing provides the closest commercial flights. The Minnesota Museum of Mining showcases the area's mining heritage with a massive 1941 Mack truck that once hauled 85 tons of iron ore.
