Chillicothe is a small agricultural city in north-central Missouri, about 90 miles from Kansas City via US-36. The town sits at the intersection of highways 36 and 65, making it a convenient stop for travelers heading between Kansas City and Hannibal or north toward Iowa. The Litton Agri-Science Learning Center operates a 280-acre working farm right in town.
