Chetek is a small Wisconsin city in Barron County, reached via Highway 53 from Eau Claire (45 miles southeast) or Rice Lake (20 miles north). Highway 8 provides east-west access. The area features rolling hills, forests, and a chain of lakes popular with summer visitors. The 1896 Chetek Opera House downtown still hosts live performances on Second Street.
