Cheswick is a small river town 20 miles northeast of Pittsburgh along the scenic Allegheny River. Take Route 28 north from the city for the most direct drive, or connect via I-76 to Route 366 from the south. The winding river road serves daily commuters heading to Pittsburgh and links several Alle-Kiski Valley communities. The massive Cheswick Generating Station power plant has dominated the waterfront since 1918.
