Chester is a small farming town on US Highway 2 in north-central Montana, about 90 miles northwest of Great Falls. It's the Liberty County seat and sits in prime wheat country near the Canadian border. The Hi-Line highway connects it to Glacier National Park westbound and continues east toward North Dakota. Chester's towering grain elevators serve as prairie landmarks visible for miles across the Golden Triangle farmland.
