Chester is a small farming town in south-central Georgia, about 100 miles southeast of Macon. Take I-16 east to the Soperton exit, then Route 29 south for 25 miles. The area grows cotton and soybeans across rolling countryside typical of Georgia's coastal plain. The restored 1908 railroad depot downtown now serves as the local museum.
