Cheneyville is a small Louisiana town of 559 people located 15 miles southwest of Alexandria via Highway 1. The main route runs south through Boyce, with Highway 167 providing eastern access. Most traffic involves daily commutes to Alexandria, though the town also attracts visitors to the Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum, which commemorates the massive WWII training exercises conducted here in 1941.
