Chandlerville is a small Illinois River town in Cass County, about 30 miles northwest of Springfield via I-72. The rural community sits in rolling prairie country where agriculture dominates the landscape. Most visitors arrive from Springfield on I-72 west to Exit 46, while Chicago travelers take I-55 south to I-72 west for about 200 miles total. The town's landmark 1923 grain elevator still towers over Main Street and remains operational today.
