Chaffee is a small Missouri town of about 3,000 people, located 15 miles northwest of Cape Girardeau via State Route 77. Interstate 55 provides the main access at Exit 105, connecting to St. Louis and Memphis. Most visitors arrive from Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, about 12 miles southeast. The town's restored 1920s movie theater now houses the quirky Chaffee Barbershop Museum with vintage barber equipment.
