Century is a small town of about 1,800 people in Florida's northwest corner, just 15 miles from Alabama. Located at the junction of State Roads 4 and 29, it's about 45 miles from Pensacola via SR-4 or 20 miles south of Brewton, Alabama, on SR-29. The area features rolling hills unusual for Florida and mild winters. The old Century Lumber Company commissary building downtown recalls the logging boom that built the community.
