Centralia is a small Missouri farming town about 20 miles northeast of Columbia, accessible via Highway 22. Most visitors arrive from Columbia in 25 minutes or from Kansas City and St. Louis via Interstate 70. The town of 4,690 sits in rolling Boone County farmland with a continental climate. Its historic Katy Depot recalls the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad that originally put this agricultural community on the map.
