Centerville, the Hickman County seat, sits along Highway 100 about 50 miles southwest of Nashville in Tennessee's rolling Duck River valley. The main routes are Highway 100 east-west and State Route 48 north-south, connecting to I-40 and the broader interstate system. The red brick courthouse with its distinctive clock tower has presided over the town square since 1898.
