The city sits along the major 35W corridor to Duluth and connects east-west via Highway 96 to other metro communities. Popular local routes include 35W south for daily commutes and Highway 96 east to Lino Lakes and White Bear Lake. The volunteer fire department tests its tornado siren every Wednesday at 1 PM.
